ZoiPer is a software phone (softphone), that lets you make chat, voice, video calls etc. To use ZoiPer you would need: - a computer or a smartphone; - an internet connection; - a VoIP (Voice over IP) account, which you may acquire from any VoIP provider.

This article includes:
Installation
1. Run the Zoiper 5 Installer and click “Next” on the first screen of the Setup wizard
2. Read the license agreement and click “Next” after marking “I accept the agreement”.
3. Select which components to be included
4. Select an installation folder for Zoiper 5 (it is best to keep the default one)
5. Choose a Start Menu folder
6. Select which users should be able to use the new Zoiper 5 application
7. The Setup is now ready to begin the installation. Click Next to continue and install Zoiper 5 on your computer.
8. Once you see this screen below, the installation is complete. Click Finish to launch Zoiper 5 and exit the installer.
Activation
1. Run the Zoiper 5 software already installed on your computer.
2. Select Continue as a Free User.
3. Fill out the credentials with the Username / Login - {extension number]@sip-domain:portnumber.
Then key in the Password that has already been provided to you by the Nautilus team.
4. Click Login.
5. Fill in your hostname by using the SIP Server ({CompanyName}.nautilus-network.com:12004); that has been given by the Nautilus team, and click Next.
6. Click Skip when you are asked with Authentication and Outbound Proxy.
7. Then wait for the configurations to be processed, then click Next.
8. a) If you waited for the configuration process, your phone will be automatically connected with (checklist) icon as an indicator. See the example below:
b) If your phone is not yet connected, you can configure it by clicking on the settings icon ( ). Go to Accounts
b.1) Click the SIP Account and make sure that the SIP Credentials are filled with the details below:
Domain: {CompanyName}.nautilus-network.com:12004
Username: {Extension Number}
Password: provide to POC
b.2) then click Register button to register your account
b.3) Once you are connected/registered, your account will have as an indicator. For example:
Enable the rport and rport media
1. select the setting -> account -> select the SIP account -> click at 'Advanced' .
2. Under Network related -> select both Use rport and Use rport media -> select the X sign on the left and save.
Dialpad
With the dialpad, one can enter manually digits and signs, if needed, and dial like that. Please note that with this dialpad, you can’t enter DTMF tones.
To enter DTMF tones, you should use the keypad found in the active call window, as shown here.
Audio Control
The third icon from left to right, i.e. the “speaker” indicates the quick Audio controls. Pressing the button will show a pop-up containing the volume controls for the default selected microphone and for the default selected audio device.
Hang Up Button
When a call is active, the active calls section will appear showing the list of active calls. A hang-up button will appear next to each call. You can click the hang-up button to end the active call. If it’s only an incoming call, and you have not answered yet, you can still hang-up by doing the same.
In Call Menu
During an active call, a menu will appear with additional options such as call mute, speaker, keypad (DTMF), show call statistics and call hold.
When you have enabled Compact mode in Settings > GUI > Theme, the in-call menu will appear vertically to the right: Click once the mute button to disable your microphone, the button becomes orange. Click it again to enable the microphone.
