Introduction
Welcome to our Nautilus Chat guide for Admin users. This guide is written to help admin users in navigating the admin-facing side of Nautilus Chat.

1. Logging in to Nautilus Chat as an Admin User
On the main login page, enter your assigned username or email address and password.
After successfully logging in, you should be met with a 403 Forbidden error message. Our developers are currently working on this so simply click "GO HOME" to proceed.
2. How to access the Administration sub-tab
From the main page, you should see three primary tabs. Click on the Administration tab to reveal the sub-tabs included therein.
The most relevant one for admin users would be the "Chat Shortcuts" sub-tab.
3. Changing / creating Chat Shortcuts
From here, users can add, edit, and delete shortcuts. These Shortcuts are especially helpful in speeding up the chat process for agents. Shortcuts are essentially template / pre-written messages that are triggered with the right placeholders. At the moment, users can create shortcuts using agent's name placeholder. More placeholders will be available in the future.
Admin users can create new shortcuts by pressing the button.
4. Using chat shortcuts
From the agent's point-of-view, pressing the / key opens up all available shortcuts. Alternatively, choosing the right shortcut will also input the template assigned to it. In this case, let's say you choose the "Greeting" shortcut.
Doing so registers the macro and inputs the right message template. This saves an agent a lot of time rewriting the same message over and over again during the course of a shift.
