Here are the steps to add a WhatsApp number for WhatsApp Business API on Meta Business:
- Access Meta Business Manager - Go to business.facebook.com and log in to your Business Manager account.

Navigate to Business Settings - Look for "Settings" or gear icon in the main menu or left navigation. panel.

Go to WhatsApp Accounts - Under "Accounts" in the left sidebar, select "WhatsApp Accounts."
- Click "Add" - Select "Add" to create a new WhatsApp Business Account.

Create or select WhatsApp Business Account - Either create a new WhatsApp Business Account or select an existing one if you have it.
- Add phone number - Click "Add phone number" within your WhatsApp Business Account.

Enter phone number details:
- Input the phone number you want to use (must not be already registered on WhatsApp)

Verify your phone number:
- Choose verification method (SMS or voice call) - If you have a level 6 number, select the voice call option and notify us beforehand so we can temporarily disable any greetings or IVR systems linked to that number.

Enter the 6-digit verification code you receive
- Complete payment setup - Add payment information for conversation-based pricing if required.
